Summertime Fun...

Well summer has been swell so far. I was able to fly out to Saskatoon and meet up with my folks who were out visiting some family. So these are just a few photos of our adventure driving home through the beautiful flat lands and big open sky. I always forget how much I like it out in Alberta and Saskatchewan, most of it is the people there, but it has it's own beauty - I'm always happy to get back to my ocean and mountains though.

Dad and I enjoyed eating a few pringles....

Hanging out in the Canola field

We met up the Hundeby's in Wetaskawin and were able to visit a few Capernwray pals at their camp.
(me, Arron, Kevin, Graham, Tim, Darren, Candice)

I made a friend with a bull...

So that's just a sneak peak at our adventure. It was a great time to hang out with my parents and to catch up with family and friends. It's encouraging to have the time while driving to think things through, and to remember the faithfulness of the God who loves us. It was a refreshing trip:)
Hmm...Cassie is coming tomorrow:) I am quite excited, so that should be super....

My Roomies....
A while ago, I broke my digital camera. So I finally looked at my old picture card today, cuz I haven't looked at it in ages, and was pleasantly surprised to find some fun pictures from a Nanaimo adventure with Cas and Terri. I sure do miss all my roommates, they're some pretty rad gals. We always have fun no matter what we do, and we often found some really random stuff to do. (Sarah, Alanda, Larrissa, Cassie, me, Terri)

Our shopping extravaganza....

Cascade and I found a wonderful treasure at Cosco - a whole stack of nutella!

Then we found some sweet headbands, which we later part of our cheerleading uniforms.

And Terri can spot Tom Brady a mile away, just like she spotted his patriot jersery's.

And these were the barbies (identical repicas of ourselves) which we sent down the raging river at Capernwray... it was an intense ride, they almost didn't make it down alive.

Howdy friends....

I finally got to chat with Jayme in Austria last night, gosh it was swell to hear her voice. She sure is having quite the adventure over there. She always makes me laugh with her funny stories, what a gal:)

Canada Day was swell. A few of us went down to the parade which was fun, nothing super exciting. I saw the coolest kid in a spandex spiderman outfit, it was hilarious. We all enjoyed cheering quite loudly for the parade people, but we quite disappointed when the large duck didn't come our way. Ah well...maybe next year.
We all kind of split up and did out own thing in the afternoon. So Han, Caitlin and I went to the beach for a bit, played some volleyball and got sandy.
And then we had a steak barbeque in the evening which was yummy:) We watched the Little Rascals as well, what a wonderful movie!
