Hmmm.....
Interesting week, both up and down, and lots of thoughts running through my head. I got to head out to Capernwray last weekend which was awesome to catch up with friends and to see how they're doing. I really do miss being out there and all the memories that come with the place. Sadly, later that weekend, Steve, a friend from Capes passed away and is now with the Lord. One of those things that is hard to wrap your mind around. A young guy, who loved the Lord with all his heart and had a joy in Him that was contagious to those around him. Even though it's sad to think he isn't there anymore, it's exciting to know that he is with our Father in heaven, and there is such hope and peace in that. He has left an impression in so many lives of what it means to live for Christ, and he will definitely be missed. I am so thankful I was able to see him on Saturday.
My brother had his birthday way over in England on the 21st, and he turned 21- so happy birthday Jeffy, that's a lucky birthday I think.
Thursday was a wonderful day, I think I really like Thursdays. Work was fun and went by pretty quick, and a gal surprised our office with bringing some drinks for us, and she brought me a mango smoothee. Yum=) Then the girls from a highschool in town who come and help me do greeting cards, brought me a chunk of banana bread. It was pretty rad...and really good bread too. Then Ashley Bates popped in and ended up staying late into the evening, and it was great to catch up.
Woooo, my fingers typed away a lot, sorry for those who are bored reading this. But a verse I want to share that has been in my thoughts lately is, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all widsom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:16-17 I've really been encouraged to continue reading His word, and to make the effort to encourage another in love, spurring each other to know Him, and to do each thing for the Lord.
"You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. " Isaiah 55:12

The Wonders of Silicone Oil and Boric Acid.....
Well friends, I recently visited the Silly Putty University website (www.sillyputty.com), and became pretty informed about the wonders of Silly Putty.
I think it's one of my favorite things, it bounces like a bouncy ball, squishes like playdough, and my newest buy is the color changing kind, so I'm enjoying that. It's good when things get boring, stressed, or you're just sitting around. So pick up an egg of silly putty, and have a little fun=)

Birthday fun....
19 - interesting. Yesterday was such a blast, and better than I expected the day to be, although I didn't really have any expectations to begin with, so that helped. Hannah, (my birthday twin), Jade and I went out for lunch. It was pretty entertaining, we enjoyed Smitty's and their old fashioned decorating, along with their wonderful dessert: Turtles Turtles Ya-Ya-Ya. The name says it all, and it even came along with a candle, but only because Han asked...
Eating our turtle turtle ya ya ya...
We also tasted Hannah's jumbo burger
Anyhoo, lunch was good, and the rest of the day was full of surprises. Linds dropped by at work with a yummy cake, I ate a lot yesterday. But I heard from both my brothers which was super rad:) Then Jr. High finished off last night too, Keltie got the coolest cake ever for the girls, it's pretty neat looking with all the summer cool stuff (like the palm tree) on it, mmm mm good.
