La dee da...
Well the summer has been going well, but definitely keeping me busy. Work has been treating me most excellently, and I've had the opportunity to hang out with YFC camps fairly often, as well as take some days off to spend time with some special friends. Here are a few moments...

Jayme finally arrived home after over a year from Austria. So Amy, Jayme and I were officially reunited!

I got to spend a full day with the YFC Hamp Camps at Hornby Island:)

Chey and I have had the opportunity to have some classy times this summer. One being dressin' up in our cool digs at attending a movie...Hairspray was full of laughs.

TerTer flew out!! and Christina Russell came for a quick visit, so we had a blast catching up again. Especially at church in our 'park' skirts.
Darren also made the long journey out to the island on his motor bike, to join our squad for a surf trip to Tofino.

Our surf crew!
(Darren, Terri, Jen, Lindsay, Michelle, Barry, Mike)

At the beach.

Playing pirates in the Coombs shop.

And now...you find me chilling on my couch recovering from the yanking out of my four wisdom teeth. I haven't experienced the repercussions of lost wisdom yet, but the swelling is going down.

So that's where the summer has taken me thus far. Scotty is finally home, which is most excellent. I have to head back to school in a few weeks...but not before seeing my good friend Josh Groban in concert next week. So I'm pretty stoked about that.

Until next time...thanks for reading.

Hey Jen, sounds like you had a fabulous summer. I feel sorry for you, I had my 4 teeth out last april, and I have to tell you I was in pain for 3 weeks.. It was very uncomfortable for me, but everyone else seemed to do alot better.
Good luck, love you.. and I hope you enjoy your last few weeks in courtenay.
Jess.
